Inform, Inspire, and Emerge. Creating new horizons for yourself

Our story

A heartfelt project that started in covid and then got shelved. 5 years later, the passion and creation remanisfeted itself. A strong belief in sharing experiences and knowledge, to give people the agency to make more informed choices with their wellbeing and in their clinical work.

Our passion

Our founder has worked in the field of trauma for over a decade. She strives to keep learning and exploring new ways of working. Her personal and professional experiences continue to evolve through her work. She is passionate about sharing resources and components to healing, this platform was created as a pay it forward. It is designed to be a space not just for learning and expansion, to ignite curiosity, creativity and development. A creative space, not just a website, a fertile void that gives space for the emergence of a new cycle of experience.

Our commitment

At Hemisphere we share what we have learned on our own journey of self discovery as well as our expertise in the field of therapy. This platform was created to support others to be more informed in their choices. Everything we share has been trialed and tested or understood to be beneficial. Our goal is to teach people to know what they need, we are not a replacement for medical or therapeutic interventions, we are providing the knowledge for you to make a more informed decision for yourself. We simplify the navigation process.

Our Founder

Amber Knights is the founder of Hemisphere. She is a trauma specialist and psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical and leadership experience. Most recently, she served as Clinical Director of Khiron Clinics, a world-leading trauma treatment facility, where she worked with some of the most complex presentations in the field.

Her work is focused on individuals navigating complexity, high responsibility, and performance demands, bringing a clinical approach that is precise, deeply relational, and firmly rooted in nervous-system–informed practice. Developmental trauma and early relational shock sit at the heart of her area of expertise.

Her training and supervision have been shaped by some of the most respected international voices in trauma, including Janina Fisher, Deb Dana, Linda Thai, Colleen DeRango, Dick Schwartz, Frank Anderson, and Ruth Cohn.
